It started with Mahima's family. For over forty years, they've been one of Canada's largest supplier of gemstones and coloured diamonds — the behind-the-scenes source for major retailers nationwide. Mahima grew up in this world, learning quality and understanding the value behind every piece.
She and Kaila met in business school and stayed close through twenty years of building their careers. Over those years, they made jewellery for themselves, pieces they actually wanted to wear, at prices that made sense. But one frustration kept coming up: why was getting beautiful custom jewellery so complicated and overpriced?
When Mahima's friends kept asking for help —"Can you source this for me?" "Where do I get that bracelet without insane retail prices?" — it clicked. Why not go direct?
